aia-bcn is an architecture studio formed by a multidisciplinary team that is structured in three basic areas:

  • Architecture, developing new construction, renovation and interior design projects.
  • Consultancy, carrying out accessibility plans (public road, transport, buildings and communication) and functional adaptation projects for housing.
  • Teaching (R&D), as a synthesis and reflection of knowledge in accessible architecture.

Universal design and accessibility are an integral and conceptual part of the projects developed.

About Us

Architecture and Accessibility is an inseparable binomial: architecture must be accessible because it is a good of general interest and foundation for well-being and social cohesion to be used by people, so that, if it is, it acquires a dimension more universal; accessibility adds quality to any architectural work by incorporating autonomy of use (for more people), safety and comfort (for everyone).

We are a team made up basically of architects and interior designers, which is complemented by external collaborators in the technical areas of calculation of structures, installations, urban planning, home automation and landscape architecture and with other collaborators in the field socio-health and personal care, to guarantee the excellence of the projects carried out by the studio.
